I attempt to keep these between five and ten minutes. I also really try hard to keep to what the Bible says, adding realistic flourishes without saying more than is there. It’s a fine line, and means that when the reading is shorter, the story will be shorter, too. (How well I do in keeping to the text is something that we can certainly debate!)
