Bread for Beggars is pleased to be able to share with you The History of Redemption, a fabulous series of illustrations by Christopher Koelle, which cover in rich symbolism and illustrated themes God’s plan and purpose from Genesis through Revelation.
The History of Redemption was originally developed by Pastor Ronnie Smith and Austin Stone Community Church as a tool for aiding in the memorization of the history of redemption so that one might be reminded of God’s great grace and compelled to share it with others.
During the 2014/2015 school year, eighth grade students from Faith Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac, WI are memorizing The History of Redemption to share live with their congregation during the week of their confirmations in the Spring of 2015. As part of their daily class work the students speak from memory a portion of scripture and then share with each other brief devotional thoughts based off of the scripture text and the artwork of the day provided by Christopher Koelle.
